Global Petrol Prices (GPP) data show that the price of gasoline in Turkmenistan is one of the cheapest in the world - the country is in the top ten in this indicator.
According to statistics GPP, published March 14, the price of gasoline in Turkmenistan is 0.428 US dollars per liter.
The cheapest gasoline in the world is in Venezuela. There, the price is $0.025 per liter.

The most expensive gasoline in the world is in Hong Kong, where fuel costs almost seven times as much as in Turkmenistan: $2.879 per litre. In the ranking of the ten most expensive gasoline prices - Monaco, Holland, Finland, Liechtenstein, Germany, Italy, Norway, Greece, and Denmark.
The cheapest line, led by Venezuela, also includes, in addition to Turkmenistan, Libya, Iran, Syria, Algeria, Angola, Kuwait, Kazakhstan and Nigeria.

The average price of gasoline worldwide today is $1.32 per liter. Differences between gasoline prices in different countries are due to different types of fuel taxes and subsidies. “All countries buy oil on international markets at the same prices but levy different taxes. Therefore, the retail price of gasoline is different,” explains GPP.
