The head the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and ECO Secretary General discussed interaction priorities
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Hadi Soleimanpour discussed on Wednesday in the format of a video meeting priorities of interaction, possibility of its activization in view of the global challenges. During the conversation the role of Turkmenistan in achievement of ECO purposes as country-initiator of regional trade and economic, transport and power projects was marked. The assistance of Turkmenistan to social and economic development of neighbouring Afghanistan, including such branches, as transport, communication and communications also testifies to this fact. Having supported dialogue expansion on the ECO platform, interlocutors exchanged opinions on ways of the further economic integration.
