Turkmenistan to get into Eurasian exchange of staff training experience
The creation of a highly qualified staff for all sectors of the economy is a priority task for in Turkmenistan. The upgrade of the system of vocational education and training on the basis of international experience, is regularly discussed by government. In this context, certain prospects are opening up for Turkmenistan in connection with the creation of a new macro-regional association “WorldSkills Eurasia”, which to become the Eurasian branch of the international non-profit association “WorldSkills International”, focused on improving professional training all around the world. The corresponding declaration was signed in Astana by the national operators of WorldSkills in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Armenia during the Eurasian week, taking place on the sidelines of EXPO 2017, Russian media reports. Four countries of Central Asia - Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, as well as Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Mongolia, Moldova, India, China – will be also attracted by WorldSkills Eurasia into exchange of best practices on increasing of human resources capacity and popularization of the industrial professions. For these countries, the target program of cooperation in development of professional skills will be worked out on the methodological basis of WorldSkills, taking into account international standards. In addition, it is planned to introduce a common methodology for assessing the professional level in the Eurasian space and to analyze the future demand for certain professions in the labor market as part of the Russian initiative FutureSkills. International organizations such as the SCO, Eurasian Economic Community, Eurasian Economic Commission and Eurasian Development Bank are going to assist in realizing the program.
