Turkmen film fans will see the Oscar award live on air
Film lovers of Central Asia and a number of regions of the world will have an opportunity to see the 90th ceremony of presenting the most prestigious cinematographic world award Oscar on the air. A live broadcast on the night of March 5 can be viewed on the Internet project "Film Search" and the main page of "Yandex" at 04:30 in Ashgabat time. Elizaveta Surganova, who previously conducted textual broadcasts of the ceremony at the "Kinopisk", notes that she saw the great interest of the the film fans, who watched and commented on these broadcasts. According to her, in this regard, "Kinopoisk" decided this year to allow film enthusiasts to see the presentation of the "Oscar" in good quality and simultaneously with movie fans around the world. Movie fans from Russia, Belarus, Central Asia, as well as Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan will be able to find out which films and which actors are awarded Oscar statuettes live on air. The live broadcast will be available until March 30th. The 90th Oscar ceremony will be held in Los Angeles. According to experts, the main contender for statuettes is the film Guillermo del Toro "Form of water", which is claimed in 13 nominations of the prize. However, nothing is predetermined yet. The history of the Oscar knows examples when the favorite films did not justify their hopes, and the "dark horses" came to the finish line first.
