Serdar Berdimuhamedov Receives Head of Japanese Corporation Toyo Engineering
On November 3, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Eiji Hosoi, President, CEO, and Representative Director of Toyo Engineering Corporation, who arrived in Ashgabat for a working visit.
The head of the Japanese corporation emphasized the strong interest among Japanese business circles in consistently deepening their partnership with Turkmenistan and developing long-term projects.
The Head of State noted the significant contribution made by Japanese companies toward realizing the country’s economic potential, pointing to a long and successful history of cooperation in the gas and chemical sectors. In particular, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov highlighted the importance of the gas-chemical complex for polymer production in Kiyanly, which was built with the participation of Toyo Engineering.
During the discussions, it was stressed that the implementation of joint industrial initiatives in Turkmenistan must be guided by key criteria: the integration of advanced, innovative technologies, high-quality construction, and strict adherence to international environmental standards.
Eiji Hosoi expressed his gratitude for the favorable investment climate in the country and gave assurances that Toyo Engineering would continue to fulfill all its partnership obligations with a high sense of responsibility.
