Ashgabat International Exhibition Accelerates the Transfer of Scientific Knowledge

The recently concluded international exhibition showcasing achievements and development prospects in healthcare, education, and sports—held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and attended by representatives from government bodies, domestic businesses, and leading foreign companies—demonstrated the international community's keen interest in fostering a multifaceted humanitarian and scientific dialogue.

Exhibitors and visitors showed particular interest in the higher education sector, which featured a wide range of leading universities and academic centers from Russia, Belarus, China, the UK, Germany, the USA, Italy, Malaysia, Turkey, Georgia, and other countries.

This high level of interest is entirely understandable: in an era of rapid digitalization and the transformation of the global labor market, human capital, highly qualified personnel, and direct inter-university ties have become key resources for national development.

Representatives from foreign universities introduced prospective students, current students, and young researchers to current fields of study, joint grant programs, dual-degree initiatives, and opportunities for academic internships abroad. The innovative educational platforms and methodological developments showcased at the exhibition open up new prospects for Turkmen youth to integrate into the global scientific and educational community.

The event’s extensive business program—co-organized by TurkmenExpo—included a series of B2B and B2G meetings, expert discussions, and presentations on modern technologies. These sessions enabled relevant agencies and universities not only to exchange experience but also to lay the groundwork for concrete agreements regarding joint research, faculty professional development, and collaborative networking.

The forum once again confirmed that Ashgabat is confidently establishing itself as an active regional hub for adopting the world's best educational practices, exchanging knowledge, and cultivating a new generation of highly qualified specialists.
