Microsoft has released a new Windows 11 build (26200.8313), which, along with bug fixes, includes a number of functional updates focused on gaming and artificial intelligence.
The key new feature is Xbox Mode. This full-screen interface for interacting with games is activated by pressing the Win+F11 keyboard shortcut. This solution is suitable for both traditional PCs and portable gaming devices, including the ROG Ally.
The system also includes a built-in AI agent capable of performing background research tasks and notifying the user upon completion. Unlike external AI services such as ChatGPT and Gemini, the built-in agent is integrated into the Windows system and linked to Microsoft's cloud infrastructure, including OneDrive.
Access to the AI agent is provided as part of a Microsoft 365 Copilot subscription. The technology is based on the MCP protocol, opening up opportunities for third-party developers to integrate their solutions into the Windows ecosystem.
The update also includes optimizations for File Explorer, improved interface responsiveness, and fixes for a number of system issues, including visual glitches and slow app startup.
