On Saturday, April 4, National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty (People's Council), Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, inspected the construction of the second phase of the Arkadag "smart city." The working visit focused on the creation of social infrastructure and the completion of key architectural projects.

At the headquarters of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation, the expansion of the medical program was discussed. A plan for a visit to Turkmenistan by leading professors and doctors from China was announced. Cooperation will focus on exchanging experience in traditional healing methods, and the creation of an alternative medicine clinic is planned at the M. Garryev State Medical University.

The implementation of construction projects supported by the Foundation was also discussed, including the modernization of the Jahan Creative Center and the Bazar Amanov State Children's Library.

In particular, the capital's creative center is being transformed into the multifunctional Jahan Creative and Sports Center. The project includes not just clubs, but a fully-fledged development ecosystem, encompassing areas such as science, including the construction of an observatory with a telescope; Skills training for children in the basics of marketing and design; Wellness, including yoga, Pilates, cycling, and other classes accessible to both children and parents; and modern language labs.

During the visit of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, special attention was paid to the construction of the main mosque in the city of Arkadag, designed to accommodate 30,000 visitors. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspected the building's color scheme and sketches of unique carpets for the prayer hall. It was noted that the mosque will become not only a religious but also an architectural symbol of the city, combining marble cladding and modern lighting systems.

During the trip, the construction of the new administration building, which is being equipped with innovative digital systems, was also inspected.
