On March 28, the final stage of the IV National English Language Olympiad was held at the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azadi in Ashgabat. The intellectual competition, which brought together more than 3,000 participants from across the country, was organized by the institute with the support of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
The final round was conducted on the institute’s digital platform. The 25 strongest finalists from across the country completed challenging tasks in listening, reading, and grammar within 90 minutes. The automated evaluation system ensured full transparency, and the results were announced almost instantly.
Winners of the Olympiad:
1st place: Gulayym Garryjaeva (Grade 12, Specialized Secondary School No. 22, Balkanabat).
2nd place: Gulgunchа Ruslanova and Kamilla Yusupova (Grade 12, Secondary School No. 10, Dashoguz).
3rd place: Nurmuhammed Iskenderov (Specialized Secondary School No. 26, Dashoguz), Atamyrat Jumayev (Specialized Secondary School No. 24, Dashoguz), and Guljemal Annagylyjova (Specialized Secondary School No. 86, Ashgabat).
The jury, which included experts from Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, noted the high level of preparation of the participants.
The winners were ceremonially awarded diplomas and memorable gifts. Teachers who made a significant contribution to preparing talented students were awarded honorary certificates from the institute.
