At the exhibition area of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, where international exhibitions in the transport and communications sector are held, the exhibit of the Chinese company Dahua Technology attracted attention. The company, which specializes in AIoT solutions based on video technology, has been operating in the Turkmen market since 2013, actively developing long-term partnerships to implement security systems, video surveillance, and intelligent platforms for urban and industrial infrastructure.
As Luo Teng, Dahua's Regional Director for Central Asia, emphasized, the company's focus has shifted from simple surveillance to intelligent analysis.
"We are focused on security and intelligent solutions. Our systems no longer simply monitor – they analyze, make decisions, and interact with the environment, helping businesses and government agencies operate more efficiently," he noted.
At the exhibition, the company demonstrated how video technologies can independently recognize faces, analyze human behavior, and identify potential threats. According to Luo Teng, today's interest lies not simply in surveillance cameras, but in systems that "think like humans," capable of drawing conclusions and warning of risks before they occur. Dahua Technology annually invests approximately 10% of its revenue in research and development.
An important aspect of the cooperation is not only the supply of equipment but also the development of national human resources. Dahua Technology is committed to supporting the development of specialists in the field of intelligent systems by investing in the education and training of professionals, thereby strengthening the industry and accelerating digital transformation in Turkmenistan.
"We see enormous opportunities in the development of smart buildings, smart transportation, and urban systems. Our mission is to make society safer and improve the quality of life," concluded Luo Teng. Through partnerships with companies like Dahua Technology, Turkmenistan is actively joining the ranks of global technology leaders, gaining innovative tools for enhancing security and sustainable development at all levels.
