On November 10, the closing ceremony of masterclasses on miniature and gold leaf decoration was held at the State Academy of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan. The event was attended by Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Turkmenistan, Ali Mojtaba Ruzbehani, Advisor to the Islamic Republic of Iran on Cultural Affairs in Turkmenistan, Abdolreza Abbasi, Deputy Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan, Nursakhet Shirimov, Rector of the State Academy of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan, Ahatmyrat Nuvvayev, artists from the Islamic Republic of Iran, Najmeh Hosseinian and Seyedehsaher Hashemi, teachers and students of the higher educational institution, as well as representatives of the media.
The ceremony was opened by Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Turkmenistan, Ali Mojtaba Ruzbehani. The Ambassador noted that the peoples of Iran and Turkmenistan have similar historical and cultural values, and said that art and creativity further strengthen the bridge of friendship between the peoples. The diplomat also expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan for its close support for the success of the master classes. At the end of the speech, the Ambassador expressed his readiness to hold such master classes and other similar events in Turkmenistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran in these areas in the coming years in order to further strengthen various joint cooperation in the fields of culture and art.
In his speech, Deputy Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan N. Shirimov emphasized that the holding of master classes by artists from Iran in the International Year of Peace and Trust fully demonstrated that the good neighborliness and "Open Door" policy pursued in Turkmenistan is also being implemented in the field of culture and art. In this regard, it was confirmed that the Turkmen side also supports the development of joint cooperation in various fields of art and the raising of cultural relations to a new level.
During the ceremony, students who participated in the master classes and specialists from the Islamic Republic of Iran were awarded certificates of honor and commemorative gifts. After the ceremony, guests and students toured the exhibition of completed works and the “Golden Treasury” museum of the State Fine Arts Academy of Turkmenistan.
