Under the leadership of the esteemed President of Turkmenistan, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, large-scale work is being carried out in the country to strengthen the material and technical base of schools and to modernize educational programs. As part of these efforts, the State Publishing Service of Turkmenistan has released reprinted and newly developed textbooks for general education schools.
Basics of Informatics
A reprint of the textbook “Basics of Informatics” for grade 2 (in Russian as the language of instruction) has been published. The course aims to teach young students the fundamentals of digital literacy. Pupils learn the basic safety rules for working with computers and input/output devices. Particular attention is paid to developing algorithmic thinking, working in the Windows environment, and the basics of computer graphics, including the use of the Internet.
Mathematics
A second, revised and expanded edition of the textbook “Mathematics. Part 1” for grade 5 has been published. The book consists of two main sections: “Natural Numbers and Operations with Them” and “Geometric Figures and Measurements.” Its goal is to form a solid foundation of basic mathematical knowledge, develop logical and spatial thinking, and reinforce the ability to apply acquired knowledge in practice.
Japanese Language
In accordance with state concepts, the textbook “Japanese Language” for grade 5 has been published. The content introduces students to Japanese writing and covers topics such as “Introduction,” “My Family,” and “My School.” A distinctive feature of this textbook is the full integration of digital technologies: texts, dialogues, and glossaries are accompanied by audio recordings to develop listening comprehension and speaking skills.
