Turkmenistan and the USA: Cooperation in the field of preschool education
22.10.2025 | 18:20 |From October 18 to 28, members of the Turkmen delegation visited the United States (the states of Wyoming and Montana) to exchange experience and establish bilateral cooperation in the field of education. The key meeting took place on October 20 at Northwest College in the city of Powell.
During the working visit, an agreement on cooperation was reached between the Pedagogical Secondary Vocational School named after Berdimuhamet Annayev in the city of Arkadag and Northwest College in the state of Wyoming.
The parties discussed joint plans aimed at improving teacher qualifications and enhancing the quality of education, particularly in the areas of early childhood psychology and methods of teaching the English language.
The following activities were agreed upon and will be implemented over the coming year:
• Online learning: Organization of eight online classes dedicated to psychology, modern methods of working with children, and English language teaching methodologies using digital technologies.
• Joint research projects:Conducting studies on the psychological foundations and foreign language learning among young children, with the participation of teachers and students from both countries.
• Bilateral exchange programs: Implementation of exchange initiatives for teachers and students.
It is expected that teachers who complete this professional development program will share their acquired experience not only at their home institutions but also with other pedagogical universities across Turkmenistan.
