On July 26, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working visit to the city of Arkadag to personally inspect the progress of construction and modernization of the road and transport infrastructure. During the visit, the National Leader of the Turkmen people paid special attention to the quality of the materials used, the aesthetics of the facilities and preparations for the second stage of construction.

Bridge on Gokdepe Avenue: From Symbols to Earthquake Resistance

The inspection began with a modern multi-level bridge on Gokdepe Avenue, where Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov personally got acquainted with its design. Noting that the region is the ancestral home of Akhal-Teke horses, he gave recommendations on reflecting the images of "heavenly" horses in the decorative elements of the structure, emphasizing their special significance.

Domestic materials for roofing buildings and concrete supports were demonstrated, which, according to Chairman of the State Committee for Construction of the city of Arkadag Deryageldy Orazov, completely replace imports. Deryageldy Orazov also reported that specialists from the Research Institute of Earthquake Engineering conducted a thorough study of the seismic situation of the territories, taking into account the density of the soil and climatic factors.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the quality of all materials must meet high international standards, be aesthetically pleasing and resistant to local conditions, while ensuring harmony with the environment.

Comprehensive Development: From Roads to a Social Cluster

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also got acquainted with the design projects of the facilities planned within the second stage of the construction of the city of Arkadag, including new social and industrial facilities. He made a number of adjustments to the equipment of the road and transport infrastructure, including road signs and designations for trucks.

Noting that the multi-level bridge was built by Turkmen entrepreneurs, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the growing experience of domestic businesses in implementing large-scale projects.

It was voiced a proposal to use the products of the local ceramics company "Bäherden", opened in March this year, which indicates the desire to use high-quality domestic materials in urban development.

City with Traditions and Prospects

At a meeting with the participation of Deryageldy Orazov and the mayor of the city of Arkadag Gulshat Mammedova, the state of affairs in the second stage of construction, including the medical cluster and the quality of building materials, were discussed. Gulshat Mammedova, on behalf of the city residents, expressed gratitude for the blessing of the opening of the multi-level bridge.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the opening ceremonies of new facilities should reflect the rich traditions of the Turkmen people, who attach special importance to the construction of buildings, road construction and bridges.

During the visit, the Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty also inspected other facilities being built at an accelerated pace, in particular, the city mosque. He noted that the construction of the mosque is evidence of the happy life of the people and charity, emphasizing that these projects are aimed at the long-term future of the country within the framework of the "Program of the President of Turkmenistan on the socio-economic development of the country for 2022-2028".
