 Turkmen pilgrims return home

Yesterday, pilgrims who performed the Hajj in the centers of the Islamic world—the holy cities of Mecca and Medina in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia returned to their homeland.

It is understood that, by the decision of Arkadagly Haji Serdar, a group of our compatriots was dispatched to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj, visiting Mecca and Medina. Upon their return home today, they received a warm welcome.

The total number of pilgrims from Turkmenistan who departed to perform the Hajj in Mecca and Medina was approximately 3,000. They were divided into eight groups and, according to the planned itinerary, visited the principal holy sites of Islam in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Turkmen citizens, having completed all the rites during the Hajj, expressed profound gratitude for the state-level care extended to the pilgrims.

As in previous years, and notably in this International Year of Peace and Trust, a large contingent of our compatriots, with the assistance and support of Arkadagly Haji Serdar and Haji Arkadag, undertook a pilgrimage to the two holy sites of the Islamic world in the cities of Mecca and Medina. The pilgrims performed all rites alongside representatives of the clergy, which underscores the importance of correctly and consistently adhering to religious doctrines.

The pilgrims offered prayers for the acceptance by the Almighty of their Hajj, Qurbanlyk-sadaka, and good wishes. They conveyed their appreciation to Arkadagly Haji Serdar and Haji Arkadag for their endeavors in preserving indigenous national principles.
