Oriented on making people closer

On June 23, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, held a meeting with Andrzej Madej, the Cultural Attaché of the Apostolic Nunciature of the Vatican in Turkmenistan, who is concluding his diplomatic mission in the country.

During the meeting, the Foreign Minister expressed his gratitude to Andrzej Madej for his contribution to the development of friendly relations between Turkmenistan and the Holy See.

In turn, Andrzej Madej gave high praise to Turkmenistan’s policy of positive neutrality and its peacebuilding activities on the international stage. He also expressed deep appreciation to the leadership of Turkmenistan for the support provided during his 28-year service in Ashgabat.

The two sides discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation and emphasized the importance of promoting humanistic values in international relations.
