In Vietnam, there is a growing interest from Chinese investors

In recent years, Vietnam has become one of the most attractive destinations for Chinese investment – not only in the manufacturing sector, but also in industries such as real estate and high technology. This was reported by Wang Duc Phu, Deputy Head of the Northern Center for Information and Investment Promotion Support of the Vietnamese Ministry of Finance, in an interview with Chinese journalist Wang Tianyu.

According to him, Chinese investors are showing sustained interest in expanding their presence in Vietnam. They are attracted by investment incentives and low labor costs.

"We regularly receive delegations and individual investors from China – every week", noted Wang Duc Phu. At the same time, the Vietnamese side emphasizes that relations between China and Vietnam are built not on rivalry, but on partnership.

"We consider China as a strategic partner, neighbor, and important ally. It is important to learn from their many years of experience, especially in the field of high technology", added the representative of the Ministry of Finance. According to him, in 2025, the Vietnamese government is focusing on the development of high-tech industries, and Chinese investment in this area is seen as an important factor contributing to job creation and the transfer of advanced knowledge.
