 The President of Turkmenistan held a meeting with the head of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation

As part of his visit to Japan, the head of Turkmenistan met with Chairman of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) Hayashi Nobumitsu on April 15.

Hayashi Nobumitsu emphasized that the Japan Bank for International Cooperation attaches great importance to long-term effective cooperation with Turkmenistan, and warmly congratulated President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the successful holding of the National Day of Turkmenistan at EXPO 2025, noting that this event was one of the first and most striking at the exhibition.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed satisfaction with the fruitful long-term partnership between Turkmenistan and JBIC. During the meeting, the importance of Turkmenistan's state development strategy aimed at creating high-tech industries, introducing advanced and environmentally friendly technologies, innovations and know-how in all sectors of the economy was emphasized. Particular attention was paid to the successful implementation of joint projects with Japanese companies in this area.

The head of JBIC noted the effectiveness of Turkmenistan's economic policy and expressed the interest of Japan's business and financial circles in further expanding bilateral cooperation.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence in the further continuation of the productive, mutually beneficial partnership between Turkmenistan and the Japan Bank for International Cooperation.
