Baku plans to create an analogue of Silicon Valley

The creation of an IT cluster is planned in Baku, which could become an analogue of the renowned Silicon Valley in California.

This project is being implemented within the framework of the world-class resort city on the Caspian Sea coast, Sea Breeze. It is initiated by Emin Agalarov, the president of the diversified company Agalarov Development. According to him, negotiations are currently underway with the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan on how to successfully implement this ambitious project. The main goal is to integrate international businesses and create a comfortable environment for IT professionals who will be able to work and live in close proximity to the sea.

Work on this project is already in progress. According to Agalarov, data centers and mining farms can be built around the resort. Preliminary negotiations on this matter are being held with Chinese and European companies.
