Railway Excursion to Koneurgench Will Be Organized in Turkmenistan
A tourist trip to the ancient city of Koneurgench will take place from August 28 to 30, 2026, organized by Medeniýet we Syýahat magazine of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan.
Participants will travel by railway to the historical monuments of ancient Koneurgench, one of the country’s important historical and cultural centers. The trip will provide an opportunity to explore the architectural and cultural heritage of the ancient city.
Medeniýet we Syýahat magazine organizes domestic tourist routes to promote the tourism potential of Turkmenistan. The travel program also includes the National Tourist Zone of Avaza, historical monuments included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, the valleys of the Koytendag mountains and other tourist destinations.
Trips for participants are organized by train and road transport.
