Yesterday, Dovletli zaman settlement of Sakarchage etrap of Mary velayat hosted an awarding ceremony of 1 million US dollars to Sakarchage etrap, recognised in 2024 the best etrap of the country in all indicators.

As known, the given competition is annually held with a view of encouragement of the work on realisation of goals of social and economic development of our fatherland and improvement of living conditions of population in regions.

In the year «The Fount of wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi», marked with international celebration of the 300th birthday anniversary of the great Turkmen poet, Sakarchage etrap achieved high social, economic and cultural indicators. It was informed at the enlarged meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of February 7 devoted to results of work of branches of national economy in 2024.

At the meeting, the head of the state signed the Order on announcement of Sakarchage etrap of Mary velayat winner of competition of 2024 and award of the khyakimlik of this etrap a cash bonus in the amount of 1 million US dollars as well as announcement of the new competition in 2025 between etraps and cities with rights of the etrap.

As was marked at the meeting of the Government, under the far-sighted leadership of the President of Turkmenistan noble undertaking of Hero-Arkadag on development of velayats of the country and Ashgabat city on a competitive basis finds successful continuation.

... In the early morning before the building of the Culture centre of Dovletli zaman a festive atmosphere prevails. Deputies of the Mejlis, members of velayat and etrap Khalk Maslakhaty, Central Board of the National Centre of Trade Unions and the Union of Women, heads of velayat and etrap khyakimliks, businessmen, representatives of public organisations, spheres of culture, mass media and elders awarded by state awards took part in the festive event.

Next to the white Turkmen yurtas established there, dishes of the ethnic cuisine are cooked according to festive traditions. At the specially organised exhibition, one can see works decorative and applied arts made by handicraftsmen and jewellers as well as food production of private manufacturers. Music and dancing numbers performed by workers of art and culture of the velayat added a special colour to the event.

Then, in the conference hall of the Culture centre a solemn conference was held. The gathered with great attention heard the Message of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to inhabitants of Sakarchage etrap of Mary velayat.

As underlined in the congratulatory message of the head of the state, efficiency of entrepreneurship activity in this region of Mary velayat, which is located along the Great Silk road and is famous for cultural-historical monuments and amazing beauty of nature in the world, steadily grows. Important measures are taken for manufacture of high quality, non-polluting, competitive, including import replacing production, improvement of quality of services rendered to the population. The high profit and growing economic indicators create favourable conditions for investments.

The head of Turkmenistan expressed confidence that the joyful event - awarding of the best etrap a cash bonus in the amount of 1 million US dollars - will inspire inhabitants of the etrap into new labour achievements and will increase our pride of beloved fatherland in the International year of peace and trust.

Speakers made an emphasis that under the leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar large-scale transformations initiated by Hero-Arkadag in the sphere of complex development of velayats, diversifications of export possibilities of economy, introduction of advanced digital technologies in all spheres, increases in volumes of output of various industrial and agricultural production, maintenance of food abundance are successfully realised.

On the margins of implementation of large construction projects in the country, in Sakarchage etrap modern villages and cities with relevant infrastructure were constructed. It is necessary to note that Dovletli zaman settlement where the present festive ceremony is held, was opened with participation of Hero-Arkadag. Commissioning of multi-storeyed apartment houses into operation with the blessing of the National Leader of the Turkmen people in in 2022 in Sakarchage etrap as well as presentation of gifts with citizens who especially need social support clearly attest to the display of principles of humanism. In the past year, Shatlyk city a new mosque opened its doors.

According to the «Program of the President of Turkmenistan of social and economic development of the country for 2022-2028» and «National program of the President of Turkmenistan on transformation of social conditions of population of villages, settlements, cities of etraps and etrap centres up to the period of 2028» secondary schools, kindergartens, sports complexes and modern residential houses with modern conveniences provided with the modern equipment were constructed and are under construction.

Private entrepreneurs also bring a worthy contribution to prompt development of the etrap. They actively participate in construction of cultural-social and industrial objects in the territory of the region. Famers’ associations making agricultural products and enterprises for release of foodstuff promote maintenance of food abundance in the country. Successes of the etrap to increase in the number of cattle and camels also gladden us. Speakers underlined that all this testifies to the successfully realised state policy to support private manufacturers.

At present, agriculturists of the country are provided a comprehensive support from the state. Investments are made in acquisition of new agricultural machinery and modernisation of industrial infrastructure of the agro-industrial complex. Farmers’ associations and tenants as a result of uninterrupted supply are provided with necessary machinery, fertilizers and high quality seeds. Cotton spinning factories and large ginneries located in the etrap process raw materials received by assiduous work of farmers. Then, production is sent to internal consumers and foreign markets.

Speakers warmly congratulated inhabitants of the etrap with their victory in the competition for achievement of high results. Inhabitants of the etrap expressed their sincere gratitude to Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for created conditions for fruitful work of workers of the village and their happy life, having noted that the successes reached will serve an impulse for new labour victories.

On behalf of inhabitants of Sakarchage etrap, the gathered adopted the letter of thanks to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in which they expressed their huge gratitude for appreciation of the contribution of workers of the etrap in social and economic development of independent Turkmenistan, indefatigable care of increase of well-being of people and huge attention given to formation of modern infrastructure in regions.
