A project for training government employees in sign language is being implemented in the Balkan region of Turkmenistan

The project has been launched in the city of Balkanabat to teach sign language to employees of government institutions.

The project is being carried out by the public organization "Ýaş Ýardamçy" in cooperation with the Embassy of the United States of America in Turkmenistan.

Training seminars and practical sessions with experienced instructors will be held for government employees in the city of Balkanabad, located in the Balkan region of Turkmenistan.

Participants in the program will gain not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills necessary for effective communication with people with hearing impairments.

It is expected that the project will significantly improve the quality of service in the government institutions of Balkanabat and ease interaction between government employees and citizens with hearing impairments. In the long term, the project aims to contribute to the creation of an inclusive society.

The project organizers hope that the successful implementation of this initiative will serve as an example for other cities and regions of Turkmenistan.
