Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute and Kent State University of the USA discussed cooperation
06.12.2024 | 10:35 |On December 3, 2024, a videoconference meeting was held between representatives of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute and Kent State University, USA. The meeting was held within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute and Kent State University (USA).
The meeting was attended by Dr. Marcello Fantoni, Vice President of Global Education at Kent State University, Rachel Mundie, Associate Director for International Partnerships at Kent State University, Prof. Mark Mistur, Dean of the College of Architecture and Environmental Design, Paulo Mussi Augusto, Professor at Kent State University, Ayya Hudaybergenova, Program Manager and Director, Eurasia Strategy and Development at Kent State University and representatives of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute.
The meeting focused on enhancing collaboration in education and science, organizing educational, methodological, and scientific events such as conferences and seminars, and implementing joint projects in the fields of science, education, and architecture. Discussions also included two diploma programs between the two institutions, with a commitment to continuing joint efforts in this area.
Since its founding as a teacher training school in 1910, Kent State University has been a driving force for the development of the economic, cultural, and workforce in the region and as a major university in the state of Ohio, USA. Kent State University has gained a reputation for using new knowledge to meet the needs of the communities it serves and society at large through its continuing education courses and many other features. Currently, six Turkmen students are studying at Kent State University.
The cooperation between the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute and Kent State University in the USA is part of the efforts to develop science and education along the path of global understanding.
