Oriented on making people closer

UNDP in Turkmenistan invites the residents of Dashoguz city, including active youth, to participate in the Ecological Festival "Development of Ecological Culture," held in honor of the Harvest Festival.

The festival is organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Dashoguz city administration, and in partnership with the American Corner in Dashoguz, UNESCO, the NGO "Ecodurmush," and the NGO "Yashyl Shokhle."

Ecological culture is a vital aspect of harmonizing relationships between humans and nature, society, and the state, and represents a key element of the nation’s cultural and spiritual heritage. Participants can expect a rich program that includes sessions on topics such as the Aral Sea crisis and desertification, agribusiness, educational opportunities, as well as eco-documentary screenings, games, contests, and workshops.

As part of the festival, there will also be an exhibition showcasing eco-products, crafts, national clothing, student research projects, vegetarian cuisine, and eco-products. Additionally, a paper recycling campaign will be held.
