Equipment for high-speed communication of satellites with the Earth has been developed
23.10.2024 | 10:39 |Russia has developed equipment for high-speed communication of satellites with the Earth in the X-band. This is reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the leading Russian IT company Sitronics Group.
The development belongs to the private company Sputnix, which is part of the Sitronics Group.
The high-speed X-band radio line allows data transmission from the spacecraft's data-collecting equipment at speeds of 600-1750 Mbit/s. At the same time, the company's developers were able to achieve optimal block sizes for its integration on board any satellites, including small ones. The equipment weighs no more than 15 kg.
This development won the nomination "Technologies of the sky, communications and space" of the international BRICS Solutions Awards competition.
