A literary and musical evening dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Fragi was held in Astrakhan
18.10.2024 | 17:50 |On October 17, a literary and musical evening dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi took place in the assembly hall of the Caspian Institute of Marine and Transport named after Admiral General F.M. Apraksin with the support of the Consulate of Turkmenistan in Russian Federation (Astrakhan).
The event was organized by the Institute in cooperation with the Magtymguly Fragi Turkmen school located in the village of the Funtovo in the Astrakhan region. The Director of the Caspian Institute of Marine and Transport – Olga Kartashova in her welcoming speech stressed the importance of preserving and developing scientific and educational cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Astrakhan region. The event was attended by diplomats of the Consulate of Turkmenistan in Astrakhan, representatives of the and students of the Caspian Institute of Marine and Transport, as well as students and representatives of the leadership and teaching staff of the Magtymguly Fragi Shool.
During the concert, students from Turkmenistan studying at the Caspian Institute of Marine and Transport named after Admiral General F.M. Apraksin, as well as students from Magtymguly Fragi Shool presented musical and dance performances. In addition, students read the most famous literary works of the poet. The literary and musical evening ended with the national dance «Kushtdepdi» performed by the dance group «Dostluk».
