 "Musical-illustrative collection” published in Moscow dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly

A unique “Musical-Illustrative Collection” has seen the light of day in Moscow, dedicated to the anniversary of the great poet Magtymguly. This collection became a real collection of creative discoveries, featuring works by the winners and laureates of the competitions of composers “Musical Works on the Poems of Magtymguly Fragi” and illustrations titled “Reflection”. The contests were held within the framework of the VIII Moscow International Arts Festival “Sounds of Dutar” dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the poet, whose words continue to inspire hearts and minds.

The works of honored artists representing the jury of the competitions are of special value to the collection. Bright samples of their musical and illustrative works set a high level of requirements for the contestants and reflect the quality standard of the festival “Sounds of Dutar”. The Oriental Poetry Illustration Contest “Reflection”, held under the auspices of the Russian Academy of Arts, brought together a wide range of enthusiasts and professionals of all ages. The awarding of the laureates of the composition competition will take place on 28 October within the framework of the international scientific and practical conference “Magtymguly and his role in world culture”. The event will take place in the music department of the Russian State Library, located in the majestic Pashkov House, one of the most beautiful buildings in Moscow.

The artists' creativity will be celebrated on 3 November at the gala concert of the VIII festival “Sounds of Dutar” in the Museum and Exhibition Complex of the Russian Academy of Arts.

Thus, the “Musical and Illustrative Collection” not only pays tribute to the great legacy of Magtymguly, but also becomes an important milestone in the cultural dialogue between peoples, strengthening friendly ties and inspiring a new generation of creators.
