The tallest buildings in Ankara illuminated in the colors of the Turkmenistan flag in honor of the 33rd Independence Anniversary

Yesterday, on September 27, the tallest buildings in Ankara — the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey building, as well as the capital’s main landmark, the Atakule Observation Tower—were illuminated in the colors of the State Flag of Turkmenistan in honor of the country’s 33rd Independence Anniversary.

The bright illumination of the red-green flag with ornaments, a crescent, and five stars beautifully lit up the facades of the buildings. It is worth noting that the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey building, standing 140 meters tall, is one of the tallest in Ankara and serves as an important business center of the Republic of Turkey.

In addition, the 125-meter Atakule Tower, visible from various parts of the capital, displayed the message "Happy Independence Day of Turkmenistan" in both Turkish and English. A video showcasing Turkmenistan’s achievements was also presented on a large screen. This gesture symbolizes the friendship and brotherhood between the two countries.
