The Closing Ceremony of the Olympic Games was held in Paris

At the Stade de France, alongside thousands of athletes and tens of thousands of spectators, were the President of France Emmanuel Macron, International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach, and UEFA President Gianni Infantino.
At the end of the ceremony, the Olympic flag was handed over to Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass. The American city will host the next Summer Olympics to be held in 2028. The flame of the Olympic Games in Paris was blown out by athletes representing five continents, as well as a member of the refugee team and the head of the IOC.
The closing ceremony was attended by American actor Tom Cruise, who descended to the stadium field from the roof of the arena on a cable, picked up the Olympic flag and symbolically took it to Los Angeles.
This marked the official countdown to the Los Angeles Olympics. Its opening ceremony is scheduled for 14 July, 2028.
Viewers were shown a video with the participation of the musical group Red Hot Chili Peppers, singer Billie Eilish, rapper Snoop Dogg.
Their participation was confirmed by the organizers of the next Olympics, which will be held in Los Angeles in 2028, as all the musicians are natives of California.
