On May 7, Apple will hold another event where new iPad devices are expected to be presented. Invitations to the event have already been sent out, and the poster shows the Apple Pencil, which is a clear hint at new products in this category.
The 2024 iPad Pros are expected to receive significant upgrades over the 2021 models powered by M1 chips. The new devices could feature M3 processors, OLED displays with thinner bezels, improved designs, and possibly support for MagSafe wireless charging. In addition, Apple may introduce a new Apple Pencil and an updated Magic Keyboard in an aluminum case with a larger trackpad.
In addition to the iPad Pro, updated iPad Air models may be unveiled at the event, including a new 12.9-inch version. The new iPad Air is expected to be powered by M2 chips.
According to a recent report from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, stocks of current iPad Air models at Apple retail stores are dwindling, which could indicate that new products will be announced soon.
