The message says that a strict reprimand was announced to the mayor "for improper performance of official duties, weakening of control over subordinate structures, as well as shortcomings in carrying out landscaping and cleaning works in the city of Ashgabat."

By another order of the President of Turkmenistan, the Deputy mayor of the capital Bayrammyrat Gurbanov was severely reprimanded, also with a final warning about correcting shortcomings as soon as possible.
