On May 19, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the State of Qatar, M. Seyitmammedov, held a working meeting with Mishaal bin Abdullah Saqr Al-Nuaimi, Executive Director of the Qatari Al-Noor Center for the Blind. The main focus of the talks was the development of bilateral cooperation and exchange of experience in the fields of inclusive education, healthcare, and social support.
During the meeting, the Turkmen diplomat introduced the center’s leadership to the country’s key achievements, placing special emphasis on state support provided to citizens with visual and hearing impairments.

The Ambassador spoke in detail about the large-scale efforts being carried out in Turkmenistan, presenting to the Qatari side the activities of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care, social initiatives dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the country’s independence, and highlighting the importance of integrating educational and medical programs for people with special needs.
The leadership of the Al-Noor Center highly appreciated Turkmenistan’s inclusive policies, and the parties thoroughly discussed opportunities for practical cooperation. Plans include launching experience-exchange programs between specialized experts from both countries, organizing joint humanitarian events, and introducing advanced rehabilitation methods, confirming the shared commitment to deepening bilateral ties.
