Japanese youth are introduced to the Turkmen poet Magtymguly
15.03.2024 | 19:29 |The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan initiated cultural and educational events, organizing them in the format of optional classes dedicated to the creative heritage of Magtymguly Pyragy. Today, on March 15, such classes were held at Tsukuba University and Higashi Osaka High School, where exhibits illustrating the poet's role in national culture were also presented for clarity.
The events included presentations by Turkmen female students from Tsukuba University and Osaka Keiku University. They told the audience about modern Turkmenistan, the main aspects of its domestic and foreign policy and gave lectures on the Turkmen classics, his poetry and spiritual views, the embassy reports.
Japanese students and pupils actively participated in these events, expanding their knowledge of Turkmenistan. In general, this cycle of classes is aimed at promoting the development and deepening of cultural ties between countries and peoples, stimulating young people's interest in other cultures and universal human heritage.
