In Moscow, a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexei Overchuk and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov was held.

The parties discussed current issues of trade and economic cooperation and reviewed the progress of implementation of agreements reached following the meeting of the co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation in Ashgabat on October 10, 2023.

Overchuk and Meredov exchanged views on preparations for the 13th meeting of the IPC and the second Turkmen-Russian business forum, scheduled to be held in Turkmenistan in January 2024, this was reported on the website of the Russian government.
