The Rolling Stones album featuring Paul McCartney, Elton John, Lady Gaga has been released

The Rolling Stones are back with a new Hackney Diamonds album — the first in 18 years with original material. The previous CD Blue & Lonesome, released in 2016, consisted of blues covers, writes RockFM.

The star guests of the record, released on Friday, October 20, are Paul McCartney (bass in Bite My Head Off), Elton John (piano in Get Close and Live by the Sword), Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder (vocals and keyboards in Sweet Sounds of Heaven, respectively). There are 12 tracks on the record in total. In addition, it ends with a cover of "Rollin' Stone" (only titled as "Rolling Stone Blues") — the same song by bluesman Muddy Waters, which gave the name to the band.

Mick Jagger stated in advance that this is definitely not the final record in the band's career. Despite the fact that the band members have already crossed or are crossing over the eighth decade. In an interview with The New York Times before the release of Hackney Diamonds, he said that they have almost three quarters of the next album ready.

In a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal, Mick Jagger said that he wants to bequeath the income from the rights to The Rolling Stones songs to charity. "Children don't need $500 million to live well. Oh, come on! Perhaps you will do something good for the world," he said, meaning that his children do not need millions.

We are talking only about the rights to The Rolling Stones song catalog, starting in 1971. The musicians lost the rights to the early songs due to an unsuccessful contract with the manager.

Mick Jagger is a father of many children, he has eight children. The eldest daughter is already over 50, and the youngest son has just turned 6 years old.
