Oriented on making people closer

The cyclists of the Abu Dhabi Club, who arrived in Turkmenistan, visited the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Education, where a tour of the laboratories of the Faculty of Olympic Sports was organized for them. Here it is possible to determine the functional capabilities of athletes – in what form and condition they are. The results of these studies help in the future in preparation for international competitions.

The Faculty of Olympic Sports has been opened at the Institute to train highly qualified specialists and athletes on a scientific basis in the leading sports that are included in the Olympic Games program. Racers from the United Arab Emirates took a "test drive" in a sports laboratory - with the help of the latest devices, they measured lung volume and fat layer. The guests also visited a special "Mountain Studio" and noted the high level of equipment that meets the most modern requirements.

The athletes of the Abu Dhabi club arrived in Turkmenistan to conduct joint training with local cyclists and get acquainted with the process of preparing for competitions, the university's website reports.
