 Ashgabat proposed to hold a Turkmen-Pakistani business council

Political consultations with the State of Palestine were held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on Thursday. Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov headed the delegation of Turkmenistan, and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Riyad Al-Maliki headed the delegation of Palestine.

During the consultations, both sides analyzed the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations in politics, economy, culture and other spheres.

The Foreign ministers expressed satisfaction with the development of business contacts and believe that such consultations are an effective mechanism that strengthens the mutually beneficial dialogue between Turkmenistan and Palestine.

The delegations also noted the relevance of organizing negotiations at the highest and highest level, emphasizing the importance of their holding for the progressive development of bilateral relations.

The significant role of mutual consultations in the expansion of Turkmen-Palestinian ties in various areas of interaction and the influence of political consultations on the promotion of cooperation on international platforms was highlighted.

One of the results of the consultations was Turkmenistan's proposal to hold a business council with the participation of both private and state structures to develop new ties and identify areas for further cooperation.

During the talks, the sides noted the important role played by contacts in the cultural and humanitarian sphere in bringing the two peoples closer. They also discussed the prospects of partnership in the scientific and educational sphere and in the field of healthcare.

Both delegations stressed the prospects of continuing to use the practice of holding consultations at different levels of foreign ministries to deepen Turkmen-Palestinian ties.
