Famous Uzbek actor Javakhir Zakirov auditioned for the role of Amir Temur in the upcoming historical film “Tamerlane”. The film is dedicated to the life of the great commander Amir Temur, UPL24 reports.

Last winter, it was reported that Netflix was preparing to shoot a new historical film. The project has become international, filmmakers and specialists from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and America participate in it.

On his social media page, Zakirov shared his enthusiasm for the film, demonstrating his potential image of Amir Temur. It is noteworthy that Uzbek actress Yulduz Rajabova has already been approved for one of the key roles in the film.

Now that the auditions for the film are over, interest in Zakirov has sparked intrigue among enthusiasts who believe he is a suitable choice for the central character.
