A reserve for rare animals opened on Wednesday in a picturesque place in the Shakhristan region of Tajikistan. The main focus of the authors of the project is on the European red deer and mountain sheep moufflon, Centralasia.news reports.

The total area of the reserve is 200 hectares, and the climate of the area is favorable for the cultivation of such species of animals. In addition to deer and moufflon, fallow deer also live there.
