Oriented on making people closer

A global conference on the digital economy has opened in Beijing. The event was organized by the People's Government of Beijing, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Informatization of the People's Republic of China, as well as the State Chancellery of Internet Information, China Daily reports.

This year's conference is held under the slogan "Data drives development, Intelligence leads to the future." It attracted over a hundred enterprises, both Chinese and foreign, to demonstrate their important products in the digital economy industry.

The conference program includes the main forum, six high-level meetings, as well as a number of thematic forums and events. The participants will discuss the issues of effective use of digital technologies, digitization of industry, cybersecurity.

At the opening ceremony, 18 cities of the world initiated the project "Partnership of Cities in the Global Digital Economy". The joint initiative aims to promote exchange and cooperation between cities around the world and the exchange of an open and mutually beneficial market environment.

The project is also designed to ensure the security of innovative development of the global digital economy.
