Oriented on making people closer

State awards were presented on Tuesday in the Kremlin by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. CIS Secretary General Sergei Lebedev was awarded the state badge of distinction “For Impeccable Service. 50 years". This was reported by the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.

Receiving the award, Sergey Lebedev said: “Today, being the Secretary General of the CIS, I am glad that I have the opportunity to continue serving our great vast Motherland. I am convinced that it is vitally important for Russia to maintain relations of friendship, good neighborliness and mutual assistance with the CIS countries. I promise that I will do everything in my power to accomplish this task.”
