Oriented on making people closer

Turkmenistan was represented at the regional seminar of the Border Management Assistance Program in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) on document security issues. This is reported by the website of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan.

The online event was also attended by the teaching staff of the border, migration and law enforcement agencies of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

The participants got acquainted with modern forms and methods of training in the field of document protection, the use of a diverse combination of protective equipment, materials and technologies. Document protection is, first of all, a set of tools, and the presence of one or more of them separately cannot completely solve the issue of authenticity, it was noted during the seminar.

The event was organized within the framework of Component 1 of the BOMCA 10 Program "Institutional development of Border agencies". It is aimed at further development and strengthening of the institutional capacity of border control authorities in Central Asian countries.
