The year 2023 promises to be rich in premieres for fans of TV series thanks to the release of interesting novelties and sequels of cult works. ORIENT has compiled a list of the most anticipated of them.

The Last of Us — premiere on January 15, 2023

The American television series is based on the very popular video game The Last of Us, which appeared in 2013. The plot unfolds in a post-apocalyptic future in which a smuggler Joel (Pedro Pascal) and a precocious teenage girl Ellie (Bella Ramsey), whose DNA may be the key to a vaccine against a zombie virus, will have to survive.

"Kaleidoscope" — premiere on January 1, 2023

A Netflix drama from the creator of the "Magnificent Scam" Giancarlo Esposito. According to the plot, the Master Thief and his team undertake a grandiose and complex robbery in order to get $ 7 billion, but betrayal, greed and various dangers disrupt their plans.

"The Witcher" (season 3) — summer 2023

Continuation of the famous series about the witcher Geralt, the monster slayer, on his faithful horse named Roach, who travels across the continent and frees people from evil spirits.

"Knights of Gotham" — the beginning of 2023

"Secret Invasion" — premiere on January 14, 2023

The series is based on Marvel comics and will be part of the fifth phase of the cinematic universe. According to the plot of the series, one of the factions of alien metamorphs of Skrulls, capable of taking the form of other creatures, will gain control over all aspects of the life of earthlings. They must be stopped by a team of heroes led by the former director of the "S.H.I.E.L.D." organization Nick Fury.

A series from the creator of "Euphoria" Sam Levinson about the rising pop star Jocelyn. Starring Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis' daughter Lily Rose, as well as singer Abel Tesfaye, better known under the pseudonym The Weeknd.

"Loki" (season 2) — mid-2023

The second season of one of the most popular Marvel series will consist of 6 episodes and will be released on the streaming service Disney +. The series continues the plot of the first season, in which the Marvel heroes first came face to face with the multiverse, as well as time travel and between worlds.

"Vikings: Valhalla" (Season 2) — January 15, 2023

The sequel to the spin-off about the life of the Scandinavians is a historical drama, partly based on real events. The action in the series takes place 100 years after the original "Vikings". The plot will tell about the adventures of the legendary explorer Leif Eriksson, his sister Freydis Eriksdotter and Scandinavian Prince Harald Sigurdsson.

"Attack on Titan" (the final part of season 4) — 2023
