Oriented on making people closer

The President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a review of military field exercises, at which units of various types of troops demonstrated combat readiness and skill of personnel, TDH reports.

The exercises took place on the territory of the Maritime Training Center located in the Balkan region. According to the plan, parts of the Ground Forces, the Air Force, the Air Defense Forces and the Navy, as well as special forces groups Türkmen edermen worked out the operational deployment of the military command and coordination of all units and staged clashes in urban conditions.

The exercises involved aircraft, helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles of modern modification, as well as corvettes and missile vessels, in particular the heavily armed corvette Deñizhan, which launched ultra-precise torpedoes, as well as the attack missile carriers Edermen and Gaýratly, which successfully eliminated conditional targets in the water area.

During the exercises, Turkmenistan demonstrated the ability to eliminate aerial targets in conditions of strong group interference, surface-to-air missiles and aerial bombs. The reconnaissance capabilities of the space satellite Türkmen Älem were involved.

Following the results of the military maneuvers, Serdar Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with various types of military equipment, noting the importance of comprehensive work on training highly qualified personnel, modernization of the material and technical base and the introduction of advanced developments and digital systems to ensure state security and territorial integrity.
