The International Seaport of Turkmenbashi received a license for the storage of goods under a special customs regime. This service allows to store various cargoes and goods on the territory of the port without paying customs duties and registration for up to 3 years.

The port also includes a ferry and passenger terminal with a capacity to serve 300,000 passengers and 75,000 trucks per year.
