An exhibition of products manufactured in the Central Asian countries is being held in the port of Turkmenbashi
03.08.2021 | 06:05 |The exhibition of goods of manufacturers from Central Asian countries, for which a site has been set aside on the territory of the International Seaport of the city of Turkmenbashi, is accumulated with new stands and eye-catching bright showcases with monitors and various products. There are several days left until the opening on August 6, so the work is in full swing, because the heads of all five states of the region are expected to be the first to meet here.
The main organizer of the large-scale show is the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. Among the participants are key departments and large enterprises of the government sector, member companies of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
The delegations of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are displaying their national expositions. They are symbolically united around the mulberry tree, which has been revered by the peoples of the countries of the region as a “tree of life” since ancient times, and is also associated with diligence. In this image there is also a reference to the Great Silk Road, which is being revived again in Central Asia.
The universal exhibition is focused on demonstrating achievements in the field of innovative technologies, sharing the best experience of their implementation in production and establishing direct business contacts with real goals.
Furthermore, exhibits can be both physical and virtual. The main thematic areas of the exhibition: energy efficient technologies, technologies in the oil and gas and chemical sectors, transport and logistics, information technology, telecommunications and telemetry, mechanical engineering and industrial equipment. A number of manufacturers will present their services and products in the following categories: innovative infrastructure, household appliances, agricultural machinery and aggregates, consumer goods, textiles, food and confectionery.
The pavilions are located in the general cargo terminal of the port, where a multimedia presentation platform and a business center for negotiations and conclusion of agreements, equipped with all the necessary office equipment, are separately set up. Dimensional equipment will be exhibited in open areas.
As ORIENT specified, all brought exhibition cargo is exempt from customs duties, machinery and large-sized equipment are registered in the temporary import regime. However, if representatives of Turkmen companies want to purchase one or another foreign product, it is possible to conclude a contract for it and formalize the deal accordingly.
