On February 20, 2024, the Chairman of the "Turkmendenizderyayollary" agency participated in the 86th session of the Inland Transport Committee of the Economic Commission for Europe, which is taking place in Geneva. At the session, together with the heads of the relevant departments of the United States, the Netherlands, Nigeria and Saudi Arabia, the Chairman of the Agency spoke on the topic "National visions and political ambitions for the transition to decarbonization of inland transport by 2050", presenting the International Seaport of Turkmenbashi, which was designed and built based on international criteria "Green Port".
