The trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Germany for seven months of 2023 increased by 69.4% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 185.5 million US dollars. In the total volume of Turkmenistan's foreign trade, Germany ranks 11th. Such indicators were announced during the Turkmen-German business forum held in Berlin on September 29.
"Kazakhstan Railways" (KTZ) will purchase 108 thousand tons of rails, more than 1,500 sets of sleepers and fasteners. The equipment will be used to duplicate the Moynty-Dostyk railway, which connects Kazakhstan with China via Alashankou.

The dynamics of cargo transportation along the Trans-Caspian route in January- August 2023 increased by 85.3% as compared to the same period of the last year. This is more than 1.7 million tons of cargo.
