The XV International Film Festival "Pearl of the Silk Road" will be held in the capital of Uzbekistan from September 29 to October 2. The main venues of the film forum this year will be located in Tashkent and Samarkand. To participate in the competitive program of the festival and applied for film-makers from nearly 30 countries, including Central Asian States, Russia, Israel, Croatia, Japan, Poland, France, Latvia, Chile, Korea, Estonia, Germany, Portugal, Singapore and Ukraine.

The Youth Symphony Orchestra of the CIS countries performed on September 12 in Bishkek at a gala concert in honor of the opening of the XVI Forum of creative and Scientific intelligentsia of the CIS states. The consolidated composition included musicians from the orchestras of the Commonwealth countries, the Symphony Orchestra of Cinematography of the Russian Federation and seven musicians from the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan under the baton of conductor Rasul Klychev.
