The British Embassy invites applications for a Chevening Scholarship for the 2025-2026 academic year
06.08.2024 | 14:45The British Embassy in Turkmenistan invites applications for a Chevening Scholarship for postgraduate study in the 2025-2026 academic year.
The Chevening Scholarship Programme was established by the British Government in 1983 and is funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and partner organisations. It is available to over 160 countries, including Turkmenistan, where around 89 people have studied since 1998.
The scholarship covers:
• Return flights;
• Living and tuition fees.
Eligibility requirements:
• Bachelor's or specialist degree;
• Minimum two years of work experience;
• Fluency in English;
• Completion of an online application form;
• Write an essay on the topics: leadership, studying in the UK, networking, career development;
• Indicate three desired Masters programmes and universities.
Applications: from 6 August to 5 November 2024.
Please note:
In parallel with the submission of the scholarship application, it is necessary to select and submit documents to the selected universities in the UK and pass additional exams. Each university makes its own decision on admission.
